Who We Are
The idea to start the Neon Foundation started amidst the COVID pandemic in early 2020. With our extensive healthcare background, we decided to band together as a family and use our resources to help essential workers in need, donating 99,000 surgical masks (PPE) to Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York City.
Since then, we have expanded our philanthropic pursuits to reflect the passions that drive the family:
healthcare ✦ education ✦ sustainability
Our Origin
HEALTHCARE
The family business, from which The Neon Foundation was born, has its root in healthcare, specifically specialty healthcare. Through our family business work, we have had the privilege to help communities in dire need, such as underserved and/or transient communities with limited access to much needed healthcare and acutely ill patients in need of specialized and focused care. This lifelong work established our first pillar of support — HEALTHCARE.
EDUCATION
The Neon Foundation was built on the understanding that education is one of the most powerful tools for lasting change. We have seen how knowledge, mentorship, and opportunity can open doors for individuals who may otherwise be left behind. By investing in learning and supporting programs that nurture curiosity, confidence, and personal growth, we aim to help create stronger, more empowered generations. This enduring mission established our third pillar of support — EDUCATION.
SUSTAINABILITY
The Neon Foundation was born with a deep commitment to protecting the world we all share. Through our work and lived experiences, we have seen how environmental challenges impact our communities. This understanding has inspired us to support efforts that promote long-term environmental stewardship, resilience, and responsible innovation for future generations. This dedication established our second pillar of support — SUSTAINABILITY
